Your credits are the currency for running analyses and using features in Discourse Analyzer. How many you get and how you spend them depends on your plan.
How Credits Are Allocated Per Plan #
- Monthly Plans: Each subscription plan gives you a set number of credits per month. Higher plans include more credits.
- Yearly Plans: Yearly subscribers get 200 extra credits each month compared to monthly users, along with a larger overall allocation.
- Credit Rollover: If your subscription is active and renewed on time, unused credits roll over to the next month. If you cancel or let your plan expire, all remaining credits are lost.
Plan | Monthly Credits | Yearly Credits (per month) |
---|---|---|
White Dwarf | 440 | 5480 (approx. 457/mo + rollover) |
Blue Giant | 640 | 7880 (approx. 657/mo + rollover) |
Red Giant | 1100 | 13,400 (approx. 1,117/mo + rollover) |
Note: Yearly plan credit numbers are for the whole year, not just one month. You get more flexibility for large projects.
How Credits Are Consumed #
Credits are deducted every time you process data or use advanced features.
Discourse Analyzer Simple
- Each credit covers up to 500 tokens (input + output combined) in a single prompt.
- If your total input/output exceeds 500 tokens, you’ll spend extra credits.
- Some advanced options, like web search or premium models, use more credits per request.
- The Swift Scribe model is always free—using it doesn’t cost any credits.
Discourse Analyzer Advanced
- Nearly every action uses credits, including:
- Processing prompts and generating reports
- Enabling caching (some credits are refunded if you repeat the same query within 15 minutes)
- Using advanced features like Grounding
- Credit cost depends on your plan, chosen AI model, and the size of the input/output.
- Failed requests always refund input credits, so you don’t lose them on errors.
When You Run Out of Credits #
- You can buy additional credits (only if your subscription is active).
- You can upgrade your plan to get a higher monthly allocation.
- Or just renew your current plan for a fresh credit supply.
Credit Reset Policies #
- Credits roll over if you renew on time.
- Free users’ credits reset every week (not cumulative).
- Paid users who cancel or don’t renew forfeit all remaining credits.
In short #
Your plan sets how many credits you get and what you can do with them. Use credits wisely, check your balance, and upgrade or renew as your research needs grow.
